I was at a lull and waiting for days to come to watch Eita being all awesome in his new drama when I discovered Osozaki no Himawari,
quite a mouthful for a title.

It reminded me how much Japanese drama were much more straight to the point and their plot lines are much faster, compact and they need a tight story for that one hour the air.

A reason for watching this, well it's got beautiful scenery, new Japanese dialect if you listen for it, a gorgeous cast who act well and more importantly a story that develops characters although some of the storylines are far from original.
Honestly the show got me at the intro, I have been much in love with Mongol800 or monpachi for short since I discovered their song in a J-drama, yes the Yamashita/Masami vehicle ProDai. Imagine my delight at having watched the cast who I assume apart from Ikuta Toma who definitely had intensive Johnny training on the vocal department, had sung in a good sport manner to the tune of Mongol800 and I must say the output is pleasing and fun. What's more they added little touches to the opening at certain episodes, blink and you'll miss it. My favourite is the slight change in episode 7.

Check out the opening for the drama

Another addition, Episode 5 opening

Guess there really was no storyline in the MV. Wistful waving girls interwoven with the guys.

Super Junior KRY (Kyuhyun, Ryeowook & Yesung) will be releasing their first single in Japan on the 23rd January 2012. It's amazing, they haven't had a single album to their name since their debut as a subgroup in December 2006.

However, the song is a staple ballad which does not highlight the capacity and capability of the 3 key vocals of SJ.

Song written by Exile's Atsushi for Exile's Hiro on his marriage to Aya Ueto. Isn't that so sweet? Embracing their marriage and Aya into the Exile family.

GREEEEN will be releasing a new single on the 19th December entitled Yuki no Ne (Sound of Snow) !! Sugoi!!
The PV with a storyline is a staple from GREEEEN.  It's cute, bittersweet and echoes first love stories.

Kyuhyun has a new OST out for a sageuk drama this time, The Great Seer. It is a ballad to epitomise the love story of the protagonist

Kyuhyun - Just Once

It is rather a bittersweet ballad that Kyuhyun loves too much. Hope it receives much love since the drama I've read has less than stellar ratings.

N: How is (your) impression of today’s photoshoot?

KH: I thought that I was doing (Nylon) photoshoot by myself, separately. I thought once again that in my life too, ‘a flower blooming day’ really came.

N: It’s quite different different with Kyuhyun-ssi’s usual appearance.

KH: Yeah, I want to say once again that firstly, this appearance is not me! What sort of (appearance) am I? Looks like Kim Joowoon of drama ‘Secret Garden’ in the past. I tend to pursue the feeling of a noble and warm-hearted sunbae like that, but today (I) look a bit like rocker, right? Somewhat, hah…..What should I say? Decadent feeling? Is it the style that seems likely can be seen in a club? Well, changing (into something else) sometimes doesn’t seem bad either.

Super Junior KRY sings on Donghae's drama, Panda & Hedgehog OST. Wow, they are really busy this month for OSTs.

Super Junior KRY - Loving You

Sweet, breezy and fluffy loving song.

Here's a live version of the song (update)

Thanks to Kyuhyun and KRY, I have the whole OST soundtrack on my playlist and I have to say my most favourite song in the soundtrack is the title song for the protagonists of the drama, Gu Jae Hee and Kang Tae Joon by Shinee's Onew.

It's on my replay list at the moment and don't you think that Minho and Sulli are just gorgeous though Sulli of course is too pretty to be mistaken for a guy.

Kyuhyun contributes to not one, but two songs for the To The Beautiful You OST. How can the OST not be a keeper.

Super Junior KRY - SKY

Kyuhyun and Tiffany - To The Beautiful You (?)

I was taken aback with the second song since the first is rather a stable ballad for KRY, but kudos for Kyu, a duet with a girl albeit the same company with a rather upbeat song.
